Bytes Back offers standard priority service for all failed computer storage media. We recover from all media types including internal and external hard disk drives, removable media like USB drives, CDs, DVDs, floppies, memory cards, and from iPods and mp3 players.

 

Each recovery case starts with a call into our customer care center where we will guide you through the data recovery process including an explanation of pricing.

 

Turn around time is usually between 1 -5 days.

 

 

 

 

The emergency service is for customers who are on a tight timeline to get their data back and can't wait for the evening or weekend to be over to get service started. Service is offered 24/7.

Note: Drop off and pickup can be arranged after hours at no additional cost.

 

Evaluation results and quote are typically available within one business day from when we receive your device.

 

No Data No Charge Policy

The client will review a list of the recovered files and make the final decision if to accept the results as successful and purchase the recovery or to not accept the results and have no charge for the recovery service.

 

Bytes Back will maintain a copy of your recovery for 10 business days after you receive your recovered files. If, during that time, you have a problem with any of the files that we reported as being good recovered files or you have a problem with the media on which the files were returned, Bytes Back will address and correct the problem at no charge. If we are not able to resolve the problem, you may be entitled to a partial or even full refund at Bytes Back's discretion. After 10 business days, Bytes Back securely overwrites our copy of your recovery and are then no longer able to address any problems.

 

Included in the price for recovery is 3 day return shipping. You are welcome to upgrade shipping service for the additional cost.

 

Bytes Back will return up to 40GB of data on DVD included in the quoted price. If more than 40GB of data needs to be returned, you can purchase a hard drive from us or supply us with a return data device.

 

Once recovery is complete, file lists of the recovery results will be provided for client approval except for as-is recoveries.

 

As part of the recovery service, critical files are tested to ensure they have been successfully recovered.

 

Before your data is returned, Bytes Back checks your data for viruses to prevent problems when you get it back.
